In 1994, HRL acquired the research and development businesses of the State Electricity Commission of Victoria and the Coal Corporation of Victoria.
The HRL business has diversified and grown through acquisition and internal growth to become a national company, which employs over 200 people.
Today, HRL’s business activities include electricity generation, innovative power generation technology, coal processing and waste and environmental management.
